About this event

The IFEP Concentration is delighted to invite you to a virtual panel discussion on the lingering economic impact of COVID-19, part 2 of a panel that took place April of 2020. With one year of the pandemic behind us, Professors  Guillermo CalvoTakatoshi ItoWillem Buiter, Richard Robb, Jack Lew , and Andrea Bubula will share their insights into the current state of financial markets, the effectiveness of recent monetary and fiscal policies in addressing the virus, and any potential downside risks of these interventions. The discussion will weigh in on these issues from a government policy, central banking, and financial market practitioner perspective, focusing on both developed and emerging economies. Each panelist will provide a 10 minute presentation outlining their observations, and the group will then break into a 30 minute conversation before ending on a Q&A. Professor Patricia Mosser will be moderating the event. Sign up now and tell your friends!
