Are you a student interested in interrupting and mitigating bias during class? Are you a faculty member who wants to be more prepared to engage students in critical conversations about anti-racism and justice? Do you want to work to advance diversity, equity and inclusion in classrooms?

Register to attend 'Speak Up' a two-part series presented by RISE. This series is focused on ensuring members of the SIPA community are prepared to engage in ways that identify, celebrate, and center the experiences of those most impacted in decision-making and development.

Session 1 will help you:
-Consider how learning environments improve when participants understand, engage in and address the impact of bias and -isms
-Understand opportunities to engage in planned and unplanned courageous conversations
-Discuss experiences of students, faculty and staff where an intervention to mitigate and interrupt bias would have been helpful

Register for Session Two (4/2) here: http://cglink.me/2e9/r1051869

This project is funded in part by the Racial Justice Mini-Grant Program through the Office of University Life and supported by SIPA, the Institute for Religion, Culture and Public Life, and the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement.
