The UNICEF education team in the Data Analysis, Planning and Monitoring division has developed a statistical guidebook on undertaking education data analysis. This two day workshop will use the guidebook and will be taught by specialists at UNICEF. Participants will learn how to use household survey data for analysis. This will include preparing and merging data, calculating education indicators (such as out-of-school rates and measuring foundational learning). Based on this participants will also learn some tools that UNICEF frequently uses to further analyse these indicators. Another key aspect of this workshop will be data visualizations, each participant will be encouraged to use excel to visualize the indicators and other analysis.
