On July 30 between 6pm and 7pm, the SIPA Consulting club will host a 40-minute guided panel discussion followed by a 20-minute Q&A from the audience.
The following alumni will be present for this panel discussion:
Jeffrey Berger (SIPA 2011): Jeff Berger is an Associate Partner at Dalberg. He leads the firm's New York office and co-leads the Latin America region. Jeff has more than 12 years of experience advising large and small companies, governments, foundations, and NGOs on a range of topics, including education technology, public-private partnerships, and inclusive business models. Prior to joining Dalberg, Jeff was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company where he advised public and private sector clients in Latin America and the U.S. He has also worked with leading NGOs in emerging markets such as Endeavor and Ashoka. Jeff holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University.
Miguel Posada (SIPA 2009): Miguel Posada is a Senior Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP based in New York. He has over 10 years of work experience assisting corporations with foreign investment decisions, transfer pricing and effective value chain planning matters across Europe, Asia and Americas. He has lived and worked in Bogota (Colombia), Sao Paulo (Brazil), and New York City. Miguel completed his BA in Economics in the University of Los Andes in Bogota, and holds a Master’s Degree in International Finance and Economics from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Miguel is fluent in English, Spanish, and French and intermediate Portuguese.
LaRissa Connett (SIPA 2019): LaRissa is a Des Moines, Iowa native and a Consultant at Deloitte with their Government and Public Services in the DC area. Her work focuses on customer experience strategy and design for state and federal clients. She focuses on healthcare and government benefit programs. She is passionate about elevating citizen experiences to transform public services.
Scott Fry (SIPA 2017): Scott Fry is a Manager in Accenture’s Strategy & Consulting practice, specializing in the Education industry. Scott has significant consulting and industry experience in education, as a former classroom teacher, school leader, university lecturer, and education-focused strategy consultant. Through these experiences, Scott has worked with public, private, and charter schools in the K-12 space and higher education institutions across the spectrum of Carnegie Classifications of Higher Education. Scott has practical project experience focusing on enrollment management, student lifecycle management, student success, pricing and financial aid design, pricing and financial aid modelling, educational leadership, business process design and program implementation.
Karan Arjun (SIPA 2015): Karan is a Manager with Kearney’s Strategic Operations practice. He has helped clients optimize their supply chain and procurement. He also specializes in helping clients use information technology to increase efficiencies, improve customer relationships, and gain competitive advantage. He has advised clients across consumer products, financial services, high-tech, and automotive industries. Karan previously worked with HSBC and a boutique HR consulting firm in India. Karan has a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University (2015), and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Mumbai University.
