Women in Leadership is hosting a panel discussion concerning gender quotas in the private sector as part of SIPA┬┤s Intersectionality Conference. The panelists will address questions such as: Are gender quotas for board membership or executive teams effective in creating more equitable companies? Who do gender quotas primarily benefit and can they be truly intersectional? What are the benefits and limitations of implementing quotas in a corporation? The panel will draw on recent events such as Goldman-Sachs' decision to require at least one woman on the boards of IPOs.
