Jazgul Kochkorova
Jazgul is a 2nd-year MIA student from Kyrgyzstan studying Economic and Political Development with a double specialization in Management and in Gender and Public Policy. She is a Dual Degree candidate and completed her first year at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Public Policy (GraSPP) studying Public Management and International Relations. At GraSPP, Jazgul has co-founded WomEnpowered International, a student-led initiative aimed at empowering female students and providing them support with academic and career goals. Her prior experiences include strategic planning for political parties, strengthening the representative function of the Members of the Kyrgyz Parliament, and running nation-wide campaigns at the National Democratic Institute. Jazgul is a passionate mother and wife, also interested in access to education, impact investing, and innovation.
