Shruti Kedia
Shruti Kedia is a graduate student at the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University, studying Masters in Public Administration. She aims to use technology, media, data and legislative reforms to aid social reforms. She firmly believes that every story, told well, can help to create an impact and bring out social change. As former journalist and Senior Correspondent, she led the SocialStory vertical at YourStory Media. Her writings focused on topics that included impact investments, social entrepreneurship, agriculture, sustainability, development, urban governance, and rural India. She also founded Decent Neta, an online legislative opinion news portal that published articles on Parliament, Policy and Politics. A graduate from Cardiff University, UK, she has previously worked as the lead parliament and policy analyst under the mentorship of Prof Rajeev Gowda (Member of Parliament).
