About Save the Children:
For 100 years, we’ve been giving children in the U.S. and around the world a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. When crisis strikes, we are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. We do whatever it takes to save children, transforming their lives and the future we share.
Site Visit Information:
- Students must bring one form of photo ID (school-issued ID is fine); if you are an international student please bring your passport.
- Dress Code - Business Formal.
- Students must arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for security check-in.
Save the Children is located off the Red line at Union Station. From Union Station, turn right on Massachusetts Avenue and then turn right again onto North Capitol. Save the Children is located across the street from Gonzaga High School, on North Capitol St between H Street and K Street. When you arrive, check-in at the front desk and tell them you are going to Save the Children on the 9th floor. They will send you up. Once you arrive, tell reception you are here for the Columbia site visit and they will send you to the proper room or call for the DHR Program Coordinator to take you.
