The National Counterterrorism Center Site Visit

*** Be aware that this site event is taking place on Tuesday the 14th, not Thursday the 16th! 

*To be considered registered for this event you must email the following information to rc3345@sipa.columbia.edu by December 23rd:

• Your full name
• Social Security Number
• Date of Birth
• Place of Birth (City/State)

*If you are driving to the event, please provide:

• Vehicle information (make/model/license plate number) 
• Driver's name, SSN, DOB, POB, and citizenship.

About the National Counterterrorism Center:

The National Counterterrorism Center leads and integrates the national counterterrorism (CT) effort by fusing foreign and domestic CT information, providing terrorism analysis, sharing information with partners across the CT enterprise, and driving whole-of-government action to secure U.S. national CT objectives.

Additional Information: 

• Students must bring a government-issued photo ID.
• Dress Code - Business Formal. 
• Students MUST ARRIVE 30 MINUTES prior to the visit to allow time for security check-in. 
• Metro to the McLean metro stop. From there, you will have to take a Lyft/Uber/Taxi to the visitor center at NCTC (about 10-15 minutes drive). You must take a car and cannot walk onto the campus. 

Directions: 

Step 1: Metro
From Washington, DC, take the Silver Line towards Wiehle/Reston. Get off at the McLean stop.
 
Step 2: Taxi/Uber/Lyft
Taxis are often but not always available at the metro stop. Be prepared to use Uber/Lyft.
Take the car to 1500 Tysons Mclean Drive. When turning onto Mclean Drive, stay in the LEFT lane to continue to the Access Control Center/Visitor's Center. Attendees will be met at the Access Control Center/Visitor's Center. Please note that all arriving guests must come by car, and are not allowed to enter the campus on foot.
