Join CRC on April 19th, 6-7:30PM, for a discussion on Innovative Methods for Conflict Resolution. We will hear from two activists and a journalist on their unconventional and creative approaches to working on and advocating for peace, justice, and human rights:

Rand Jarallah was born and raised in Palestine. She is passionate about combining art and activism and has founded Randistic which is a platform that uses art, performance, and makeup to convey stories on a range of topics, including human rights and mental health. Rand has led many successful campaigns, including a collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund on #7DaysOfMakeup, which helped raise awareness on the needs of displaced girls and women. Her artivism has been featured in The New York Times, Marie Claire, Vogue, The Independent, CNN, BBC, Mashable, and other media outlets. With over 10 years of experience in human rights, her work aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Yelda Ali is an Afghan artist, author, and advocate. She is bilingual and multi-disciplinary. Her work focuses on identity, safety, and storytelling.

Edris Lutfi is a multimedia journalist and a researcher with 12 years of professional experience working with the private sector, government, and research organizations. Edris has a master's degree in social research from the University of York and a bachelor's degree in business administration.

Q&A discussion will follow the panel. Dinner will be served.
