Join our annual D&G Retreat which will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the Taconic Outdoor Education Center (TOEC) located in Cold Spring, NY (just over an hour north of NYC). The retreat will provide an opportunity for new students to make new friends, bond with second-year D&G/EPD students, and engage with some of our D&G faculty in a non-academic setting. Please note that space is limited. Registration is open primarily to first-year students. However, we have reserved seats for continuing second year students as well.

Similar to last year, part of our D&G retreat will be a team building adventure course, which fosters team building, problem solving and cooperation in an outdoor setting. This is a physical exercise which aims to create a positive experience for all students. Those who prefer not to participate can opt out and an alternative option will be available. Please let us know in your registration if you wish to opt out. Students who may require special accommodations for this trip should reach out to Eugenia McGill at em419@columbia.edu.

Cost: $50 (includes transportation, two meals, and camp activities at TOEC).

Registration deadline and payment: Students must register on Campusgroups by Friday, 9/12 at 4 pm to complete their registration.

Cancellation policy: Students can cancel their reservation and receive a full refund before Friday, September 12 at 4 pm. After 4 pm on September 12, students will need to find a replacement.

We will send a confirmation email with an agenda for the day prior to the retreat to all students who registered and paid.
