The Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment (CCSI) is the applied research center of the Columbia Climate School, dedicated to rethinking how global finance, investment, and policy can drive real progress on sustainable development and climate goals. CCSI works across sectors and regions to design the frameworks, financing models, and institutional reforms needed to mobilize trillions in affordable, long-term investment for the transition ahead.

In this session, Lisa Sachs, CCSI’s Director, will take stock of today’s sustainable finance landscape—what’s credible, what’s not, and what really matters for impact. She’ll also share where the most exciting and meaningful career opportunities are emerging for those eager to work at the intersection of finance, policy, and sustainability.
