Mission
The mission of the First-Generation Student Union is to:
1. Create a welcoming space for individuals who identify as first-generation, low-income, and/or undocumented.
2. Promote academic excellence by providing tutoring, study groups, and academic workshops.
3. Facilitate personal development through mentorship programs, workshops, and discussions on relevant topics.
4. Offer career guidance and networking opportunities to enhance post-graduation prospects.
5. Advocate for the needs and concerns of first-generation, low-income and/or undocumented students within the larger university community.
