HRGE and D&G are excited to host Alexis Cheney, Analyst on Women, Business and the Law at World Bank Group. Alexis will present the latest findings of the Women, Business and the Law 2026 Flagship report. Nayantara Vohra, Analyst at World Bank Group, will join virtually and speak to students about the report findings on child marriage. Students will learn how data from the report can be incorporated into their own research and used for policy reforms.

Women, Business and the Law 2026 assesses the enabling environment for women’s economic opportunity across 190 economies. This year’s report further expands its scope beyond measuring laws to present a consolidated framework built on three pillars: legal frameworks, supportive frameworks, and enforcement perceptions, providing comprehensive data for each pillar across 10 key topics shaping women's access to jobs and entrepreneurship.

A light breakfast and coffee will be available.
