The Kent Global Leadership Program on Conflict Resolution is pleased to present a discussion with Peter Maurer, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Based on his unsurpassed experience as President of the ICRC, Peter Maurer will comment on the ways the contours of conflict are changing. At a time of a deadly pandemic, climate stress, and threats from non-state armed groups, do our tools, doctrines, and institutions for conflict resolution need a sweeping rethinking and refurbishing? If so, where should we start?

Moderated by: Dr. Edward C. Luck, Program Director of ICRC at SIPA.

Opening Remarks by: Merit E. Janow, Dean, School of International and Public Affairs; Professor of Professional Practice in International Economic Law and International Affairs and Dr. Muhtar Kent, Founder of the Kent Leadership Program on Conflict Resolution at SIPA and former Chairman and CEO of the Coca-Cola Company.
