Details
In conversation with Professor Daniel Naujoks, Director a.i. of SIPA's UN Studies specialization, Ban Ki-moon will discuss his new book 'Resolved: Uniting Nations in a Divided World,' a personal account of his decade at the helm of the UN. Throughout his tenure, Ban forged global agreements and mobilized international efforts to advance the UN mission of peace, development, and human rights against a slate of global pressures including climate change, extreme poverty, and armed conflict to make the world a safer and more equitable place.
Secretary-General Ban will join virtually. Columbia students and faculty can opt to join the in-person joint viewing or to join virtually. Due to the pandemic, other guests only have the option to join online. Please see the separate registration options.
