Cullen's Corner: An Update from Employer Outreach

MIX, a global data resource for socially responsible investors and businesses focused on inclusive finance, seeks SIPA applicants for a remote internship (26620613) supporting research and writing of a case study on data standards for inclusive fintech. MIX is also hiring a full-time Lead Analyst, Strategic Initiatives (26620611), to serve as the primary data and analytics lead for one or more strategic data initiatives in inclusive finance. MoveOn, working to create progressive change in America, is hiring a Chief of Program- Campaigns, Elections and Organizing (26620589) and an Email Marketing Manager (temporary, ends November 2020) (26620586). MoveOn is an entirely virtual organization and both roles are remote. 

InVision, a digital product design platform, is hiring for a number of remote roles across finance, product management, design and marketing. All roles can be found at invisionapp.com, and anyone interested can reach out to Cullen to have their application highlighted to the recruiting team. Additionally, Avi Millman, Head of Consulting and Agency Partnerships, EMEA & APAC at InVision will participate in a webinar on remote opportunities on Thursday. 

Apply Now: Private Sector Panel Coordinators

Motivated, organized, and confident continuing students are strongly encouraged to apply to be a Private Sector Panel Coordinator for Fall 2020 (26614907). Panel Coordinators (PC) identify and recruit potential panelists and serve as panel moderators. PCs gain a deeper understanding of the NYC job market, forge new connections, and demonstrate their professionalism to prospective employers. 

PCs must be current SIPA students (as of Fall 2020) and be knowledgeable about their panel topic (1-2 years of relevant experience and/or working experience in NYC is preferred). All those selected as PCs must attend a virtual training in May.

  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  • International Finance and Economic Policy
  • Microfinance and Inclusive Finance
