National Security and Intelligence Career Coaching Bootcamp, Oct. 8-9

The Emerging Voices Program at the Arnold A. Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies would like to invite you to apply for our annual career coaching bootcamp on October 8-9! This workshop is designed for students either planning a new career, shifting careers, or wanting a leg up in the national security and intelligence sectors to develop the tools and skills necessary to compete effectively in today’s job market. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to develop an effective job search strategy and a detailed action plan for employment post-graduation. If you are planning on working for DOD, DOS, or other public service governance positions abroad, OR you are planning to apply to any of the global intelligence markets including private sector, this is the workshop for you! Priority will be given to women and other underserved students in line with the mission of Emerging Voices.
About the program: The Emerging Voices Program at the Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies aims to ÔÇïÔÇïÔÇïÔÇïÔÇïexpand inclusive curricula at SIPA and Columbia and encourage female, BIPOC, and first-generation students (undergraduate and graduate alike) to consider and pursue professional opportunities in national security, intelligence, operations, and related fields. About the bootcamp: The bootcamp is a two-day intensive on Saturday and Sunday, October 8th through 9th; applicants must be able to attend the entire weekend. Applications will be accepted until September 30, 2022 and students will be notified over email by October 3rd if they were selected to attend. A full schedule is linked here.
