Interested in consulting but unsure how your background fits into the field? Join us for a conversation with Accenture consultant Paula Vila and Senior Consultant Milla Kessener, who will share how their international affairs and policy backgrounds led them into careers in consulting.

Drawing on experience across technology consulting and public sector strategy, they’ll discuss what consultants actually do, how social science and policy training can add value in large consulting firms, and what day-to-day work looks like in the industry. Milla Kessener, whose background in international affairs focuses on environmental sustainability, global health, and foreign policy, will also speak about strategy consulting in the public sector.

This session is a chance to learn how students can translate policy, research, and global affairs skills into consulting careers, and to ask questions about navigating the path from graduate school to major consulting firms.
