Endy Zemenides
Endy Zemenides is a prominent Greek-American advocate and political figure. He serves as the Executive Director of the Hellenic American Leadership Council (HALC), a national organization that functions as a think tank and advocacy group promoting Greek-American interests, U.S.-Greece relations, and policies supporting Greece and Cyprus in international affairs.
HALC focuses on issues like countering Turkish aggression, supporting Cyprus against occupation, strengthening U.S. alliances in the Eastern Mediterranean, and broader foreign policy matters affecting Hellenic communities.
He is active on X (formerly Twitter) as @Zemenides, where he frequently comments on geopolitics, U.S. foreign policy, Turkey’s role in the region, Iran, and related topics. His recent posts (as of early March 2026) include discussions on Middle East developments, criticism of Turkey’s leadership and actions, support for international law principles (e.g., regarding Cyprus and Ukraine), and opinions on U.S. policy under the current administration.
He has contributed opinion pieces to outlets like Ekathimerini, To Vima, and HuffPost, often analyzing transatlantic relations, Greek foreign policy challenges, and historical parallels.
He maintains a personal site at endyzemenides.com (titled “Conscience of a Hellene”), which highlights his work with HALC.
