Mission

The Dominican Republic International Partnerships & Strategy (DRIPS) Student Group brings together SIPA students, alumni, and faculty who are committed to transforming what they learn in the classroom into meaningful global action.

Our mission is to foster cross-border collaboration between the United States, the Dominican Republic, and other nations through research, policy innovation, and community partnership. We believe that students can play a vital role in shaping equitable and sustainable solutions to today’s most pressing challenges, across health systems, migration, sustainable development, civic engagement, and social and economic policy.

At DRIPS, we believe that the exchange of ideas across borders—and the relationships built through that exchange—are powerful drivers of change.

DRIPS serves as a forum where ideas become action. We create opportunities for dialogue, joint projects, and experiential learning that prepare students to lead ethically and effectively in international and community contexts.

Whether exploring bilateral and multilateral agreements, advancing public health initiatives, or engaging with local and diaspora communities, DRIPS members gain the tools and networks to apply SIPA’s principles of public service and global collaboration to their own careers and endeavors.

Members Benefits
