Join HRHP in a conversation about career and networking with Daniel Berezowsky Ramirez.

Daniel Berezowsky is a Mexican human rights strategist and communications expert with over 9 years of work experience in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. His work focuses on business and human rights and LGBTI rights. In his professional path, Daniel has gained critical experience as a human rights expert and advocate at the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights and Human Rights Watch, as well as a consultant for the private sector and senior advisor at the Mexican government.

Daniel is currently an Advisor and the Communications Lead at Shift, the leading center of expertise on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. At Shift, Daniel drives the communications and advocacy strategy. In parallel, he offers bespoke advisory support to Fortune 500 companies, sports bodies and governments on the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles. Furthermore, he has directed award-winning short films and documentaries; he has written articles and opinion pieces for multiple newspapers, both in Mexico and the US.

The goal of the talk is to hear from Daniel's experiences and career insights, as well as allow students to ask questions and have a more interactive conversation. To create more direct interactions with the guest, we are establishing a 30 people cap on RSVP, with priority to HRHP students. For that same reason, students who register are expected to join the conversation with both audio and video for the entire session. Our speaker is taking time from his busy schedule to share insights with current HRHPers, and we should show him a similar courtesy!
