Next generation urban mobility: How people and goods will move in global cities in 2030: "Fewer emissions and less congestion: How cities can develop integrated next-generation mobility strategies". Stefan will explain how cities can develop an integrated mobility strategy in 12 weeks using examples from Chicago and City of Paris. This new and unique approach is based the digital twins and agent systems which allows us to simulate all future modes of transportation on a city's street level!
Speaker's Background:
Stefan Knupfer is a Senior Partner in McKinsey's Stamford office and leads McKinsey's Sustainable Resources and Productivity (SRP) Practice in North America. Prior to this, Stefan was responsible for McKinsey's Automotive & Assembly Practice in the Americas and was the Managing Partner of our Detroit office.
As part of McKinsey's leadership team in the Advanced Industry Sector he serves clients on large scale transformations and global strategy programs. Stefan has led McKinsey's knowledge efforts in Electrical Vehicles and leads the firm's global activities on all mobility-related activities and global cities.
Author of McKinsey's reports on "Future of Mobility (part 1,2 and 3)", a joint C40 city report on "Focused Acceleration", a new report "Rapid Development of an Urban Mobility Strategy", and several publications on EVs/AVs.
