Increase awareness of political risk matters in the SIPA community.

We live in a complicated and imperfect world. New crises and conflicts seem to erupt everyday and all across the world. These shocks force a wide range of issues into sharp focus: economic conditions, security and unrest, trade and regulation, government stability and human rights. They matter for everyone. We in the Political Risk Group try to understand these developments, and assess the risk they pose for business, international organizations and NGOs. We are also focused on introducing SIPA students to the growing Political Risk Strategy and Analysis business sector. More and more multinational corporations and organizations need to work with risk analysis and risk strategy to adapt to global events. Political Risk Strategy and Analysis firms exist to help out with exactly that. The SIPA Political Risk Group's mission is to introduce SIPA students to this exciting world.
