Join Miles Borrero (the author of Beautiful Monster) and Professor Yumi to celebrate the International Transgender Day of Visibility on Mach 29th, Friday from 4:30 pm in IAB 407. Through Miles' powerful story as a transgender person, breaking through the barriers of gender and cultures to embrace his authentic self, he shows how to dismantle the systems within ourselves that keep us small. To make this event even more special and meaningful for each person, we will hold a space for everyone to reflect on their journey of breaking through barriers. We will be serving delicious food & drinks, sweet guided meditation, and more! Come to connect, laugh, share, and learn.
