SIPASA's annual Halloween boat cruise is right around the corner! As of 8:00am this morning, tickets are on sale HERE while supplies last.
If you are on the waiting list for an early bird ticket, we recommend you grab a regular ticket now! You can purchase up to two tickets per person. Your guest will be required to arrive with you for boarding purposes.
Cruise Schedule
9:00pm: Students meet at Chelsea Piers, Pier 61. The entrance is through the large double doors in front of the parking area. Your CampusGroups e-ticket must be displayed in order to enter the boat; download or print yours before you arrive.
9:30pm: Students are invited to board the cruise and explore the boat before departure. Ticket purchases will be closed at this time. There will be a coat check onboard. Complimentary, unlimited, top-shelf drink service begins as soon as you enter the boat.
9:50pm: Boarding is concluded and the ramp to the cruise is lifted. No refunds will be given for students who miss the last call for boarding. Seating for the dinner will commence.
10:00pm: Our oceanliner sets sail! Dinner will be served first; please tell your server if you have dietary restrictions or allergies. After dinner, the dance floors will be opened. Our top floor will be playing mostly Hip Hop, Afrobeats, and Top40 hits, and our bottom floor ("the disco floor") will be playing a mix of Latin, Desi, and Chinese hits. Students will be able to request songs from either of our DJs until the end of the night.
10:00pm-12:50am: We will be touring around all of Manhattan Island and stopping by the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge. Multiple outdoor patios will be open for photo ops. Professional photography will be on board and will print photos for attendees to purchase after the cruise. Please take as many photos as you can and tag sipasa.columbia on instagram to be featured.
1:00am: The oceanliner returns to harbor! The cruise docks back at Chelsea Piers 61. All attendees are required to exit at this time. There will be a safe exit area outside the boat with Uber drivers and taxis nearby.
Click here to see photos and video of the vessel we will be cruising in. You will not feel seasick! There are no waves and the boat is too large to sway back and forth. This will be a private cruise so only SIPA attendees and their guests will be on board. All invitees must be 21+. Unlimited food and drink is free with ticket purchase. Please bring cash if you would like to tip your bartender.
Please keep in mind that the cruise vessel will be departing from harbor on time and, once it departs, we will not be returning until the end of the evening.
