Call for Proposals- UNESCO Human Rights Go Local
Human rights experts and practitioners, academia, policy makers, public administrators, civil society, as well as international and regional organizations will gather in order to exchange knowledge and establish co-operations in a global network of stakeholders. In addition, young researchers are invited to share their research projects. The Academy and Conference will demonstrate innovative approaches and proven practices for making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable by following a human rights-based approach. We seek to contribute to the United Nations vision of protecting and promoting human rights for all by informing local governments on how to deliver on their international obligations as well as the goals set by the 2030 Agenda and its promise to “Leave No One Behind”.
