The DAQA team invites you for a coffee klatsch with our director Professor Sharyn O'Halloran. It will be a great way to connect with her, talk about her work, about DAQA, and her quant-3 level new class on Testing Models in Public Policy. You can watch her on Bloomberg, talking about how Biden's administration will affect global trade or read about her thoughts on the same at MarketPlace. She also recently co-authored a book, called After The Crash (10 years after the 2008 financial crisis) with professor Thomas Groll. You can watch a one-minute documentary of the same here. CCS Fundraising Information Session

CCS is a strategic fundraising consulting firm that partners with nonprofits to raise funds and strengthen organizations. Students are invited to join CCS Fundraising to hear how the firm activates our cohort of driven fundraising professionals to plan, strategize, and manage extraordinary fundraising initiatives with our nonprofit partners across the country. Megan Mills, AVP, MSW, will share an overview of the firm, key aspects of our services and day-to-day work, and details on open positions within the team. Megan will also answer any questions about the Summer 2021 paid internship, as well as current full-time opportunities.

Please note this event has been organized by Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, University of Michigan. SIPA students have been invited to participate. If these events are being recorded, they may only be accessible by University of Michigan students. Although all events we schedule are from 1-2pm, those organized by APSIA and other schools may be at a different time.

Brankas Briefing

Brankas is the leading "Open Banking" fintech startup in Southeast Asia. We provide the API technology that powers digital financial services and unlocks new opportunities to reach the unbanked and underbanked across the region. Founded in 2016 by Todd Schweitzer (HKS MPP 2012), Brankas now operates in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Singapore. Brankas is backed by top venture capital firms in Asia and the US, and operates a remote-first team.

Todd and his colleagues will be discussing Full-time, Summer Internship, and Temp/Controls roles. They have positions available in Business Development, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering. Brankas is a fully remote company, though most of the team is working out of an Asia time zone. Though positions are open to all students, they are particularly interested in students from Southeast Asia countries.

If these events are being recorded, they may only be accessible by Harvard Kennedy School students. Although all events we schedule are from 1-2pm, those organized by other schools may be at a different time.
