Each year, EPD tries to document the lives of EPD students throughout the academic year. We often share photos in newsletters and a year in review presentation at the end of the year. As part of this endeavor, we need your help submitting fun photos! So next time you are at an EPD event or just grabbing a photo worthy lunch with some EPD friends, snap a photo and send it our way!

PICK OF THE WEEK

This week's featured book: Fight Night  by Miriam Toews

Told in the voices of 9-year-old Swiv and her grandmother, Elvira, Toews (“All My Puny Sorrows“) tells the story of female struggles and empowerment in this heartwarming book that’s winning praises for being funny, honest and wickedly smart. Alternating between the exuberant, precocious voice of young Swiv and her irrepressible, tenacious Grandma, Fight Night is a love letter to mothers and grandmothers, and to all the women who are still fightingÔÇòpainfully, ferociouslyÔÇò for a way to live on their own terms.

(We would love to hear your recommendations! Let us know what you have watched/read/listened to recently so we can feature them in the next newsletter!)
