Upcoming Events

In Conversation with Reproductive Rights Attorneys on Roe's 50th Anniversary.

TODAY, JANUARY 23, 5 PM-6:15 PM E.T.
Location: Zoom

For nearly 50 years, the Supreme Court recognized and protected the right to abortion under the 14th Amendment’s right to liberty. On June 24, 2022, in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the Court overruled Roe v. Wade, eliminating—for the first time—a fundamental constitutional right. On this Roe Day, the Center for Reproductive Rights will feature two of their very own reproductive rights attorneys, Jenny Ma, Senior Counsel, and Hillary Schneller, Senior Staff Attorney. Jenny and Hillary were counsel for the last abortion clinic in Mississippi in Dobbs before the Supreme Court. They are also both New York practitioners working on high impact justice issues. This conversation-style event will be open to everyone who would like to learn working on reproductive rights during and after Dobbs, and to be in community on Roe’s 50th Anniversary.
