EPD ANNOUNCEMENTS
Call for Student Photos! Each year, EPD tries to document the lives of EPD students throughout the academic year. We often share photos in newsletters and a year in review presentation at the end of the year. As part of this endeavor, we need your help submitting fun photos! So next time you are at an EPD event or just grabbing a photo worthy lunch with some EPD friends, snap a photo and send it our way!

PICK OF THE WEEK
This week's featured musical: Girl From the North Country
With music and lyrics by Bob Dylan, Girl From the North Country is a very promising looking new musical now playing on Broadway! For more information and tickets,
From the show's website: "In what Ben Brantley of
The New York Times raves is
“as close as mortals come to heaven on earth,” GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY is set at a guesthouse where a group of wanderers cross paths. Standing at a turning point in their lives, they realize nothing is what it seems. But as they search for a future, and hide from the past, they find themselves facing unspoken truths about the present." Food for thought for any of you thinking of going to see a show sometime during the holidays!
(We would love to hear your recommendations! Let us know what you have watched/read/listened to recently so we can feature them in the next newsletter!)
HAPPENING OUTSIDE THE BUBBLE
Christmas Markets are Here!
New York has several lovely christmas markets complete with pop up stalls and vendors selling food and lots of knick knacks not fit for the student budget. Nonetheless, they are always good fun! Options include the Winter Village at Bryant Park (Mon-Fri 11:00-8:00 / and 10:00-8:00 Weekends), The Union Square Holiday Market (11:00-8:00 Mon-Sat), and the Columbus Circle Holiday Market, opening this week on the 27th (Mon-Sat 11:00-8:00, 11:00-7:00 Sun).
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
After a covid hiatus, Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade is making a comeback! For those of you sticking around the city on Thursday, the parade will run on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM and includes loads of outrageously oversized floats! This is an iconic New York event you can attend and check off your NYC bucket list, and is also much more accessible than New Year's Eve in Times Square, which is really only for those with steely determination and an iron bladder to match.
