Journal of International Affairs Issue on Global Feminism
To celebrate the release of the issue, the Journal will be hosting a public event at the Kellogg Center on the afternoon of October 1 from 1:00-2:00pm. There will be speakers and Dr. Yasmine Ergas will be moderating the event.

Join Women in Energy for a roundtable lunch and recruitment information session with Cathy Chen (SIPA '17, Women in Energy member), Senior Advisor at the Canadian Department of Natural Resources who is currently working on Mission Innovation. Ms. Chen will discuss her academic and job histories, career paths, perspectives on what it means to be a female leader in the energy industry, and share career advice.

Cathy will also provide recruitment information on the Policy Analyst Recruitment and Development Program (PARDP) from the Canadian Department of Natural Resources and share her experience participating in the program.

Film Screening & Panel: Period. End of Sentence

Our panel will address critical questions related to menstrual stigma, agency, and power relations. The Trump Administration, and Betsy DeVos, Secretary of Education, have proposed new rules governing the policies and procedures governing campus sexual assault under Title IX, the federal law prohibiting sex discrimination at educational institutions. If you are interested in discussing some of these proposed changes, how they came about, and the potential impact that may have on students at colleges and universities across the country, come chat with Marjory Fisher, Columbia's Title IX Coordinator.
