The idea of this talk is to rethink networking through an evidence-based psychological lens. Through a growth mindset, we will explore networking for women in leadership as a skill that can be developed through continuous learning and practice. A psychological safety framework, in turn, will help us reflect on what enables us to participate, ask questions, seek help, share what we think, and connect with others even when doing so involves a certain degree of discomfort.
The idea is to take some of the pressure out of networking and begin to see it as an opportunity to have conversations, learn, bring value, and build more meaningful professional relationships and connections that, over time, can enable new collaborations and opportunities for women in leadership
