The Asia Pacific Affairs Council (APAC) is a forum for all Columbia University students interested in East and Southeast Asian affairs. APAC serves the entire university community by organizing events, distributing information, and coordinating East Asia-related activities while building a community for students interested in East Asia. APAC is run by students and serves as the student-outreach arm of Columbia University's Weatherhead East Asian Institute.

The purpose of CCI is to provide members with education on Asian financial markets and stocks along with a discussion and practice platform to improve their investing acumen. As part of the SIPA community, we bring more insights, practical skills, and job opportunities to members who desire to work in the Asian area and other emerging markets. The Columbia SIPA Veterans Association (CSVA) is a student body organization at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University. The CSVA provides a platform for veterans of US and international militaries to build relationships with each other and the larger student body at SIPA. With a primary focus on connecting people, CSVA will help develop civilian-military relations in the greater NYC area while also serving as a platform to assist veterans as they enter, attend, and then graduate from SIPA.

The School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) Environmental Coalition (ECO) is a graduate student and alumni organization dedicated to elevating the most pressing global and local environmental policy challenges of our time. ECO raises awareness by offering skills-based trainings, hosting educational and social activities, and providing opportunities for advocacy through collaboration. Our goal is to spur action and engage the Columbia community in dialogues that highlight the linkages among our fields.

The purpose of SIPA's Ethical Fashion Working Group is to raise awareness of the fashion industry's impact on the environment, workers, and animals, and to advance well-informed consumer behavior. JASSA (Japan Study Student Association) provides opportunities for the SIPA community and the greater Columbia University community including undergraduate and graduate students. JASSA's main events involve panel discussions and seminars held by Japanese politicians, economists, academics and professionals. We also host cultural and social events each month during the academic year and occasionally co-sponsor a number of activities with other student organizations. Events will be held in both English and Japanese and are open to the Columbia University community, Columbia affiliates and others who are interested in Japan.

Founded in 1947, the Journal of International Affairs is a leading peer-reviewed journal published by the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. It is the premier university-affiliated periodical in the field and has earned worldwide recognition for framing the heated debates that define global events and foreign policy.

In the aftermath of World War II, the founders of the journal saw a need for a publication that would serve as a forum for exploring issues and offering innovative solutions to problems of global concern. The journal has featured leading minds in the field of international affairs since its inception.

Contributors are drawn from a diverse group of academics and practitioners. Notable authors have included Hannah Arendt, J.
