TRAVELING FOR SIPA: THE RIGHT KIND OF GLOBAL IMPACT

SIPAÔÇÖs mission, to empower leaders to serve the global public interest, means offering our students the opportunities for international study and fieldwork that will provide you with both global perspective and sensitivity to local circumstances.

From financial crises and sustainability concerns, to threats to our security and environment, todayÔÇÖs policymakers increasingly confront challenges that transcend national borders. At the same time, these challenges often present themselves in highly localized contexts. The best prepared policy professionals will both understand the common issues confronting society and appreciate the different contexts in which they can appear.

Columbia SIPAÔÇÖs Cyber Program continues the institute's ambition to be the interdisciplinary hub for research and engagement across tech and cyber issues. By convening scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and technologists of varied expertise, SIPAÔÇÖs Cyber Program works to examine complex questionsÔÇörelated to cybersecurity, trust and safety, internet governance, and tech policy, among other issuesÔÇöand reach effective, innovative solutions.
