Join the Latin American Student Association (LASA) for an afternoon of remembrance, creativity, and community as we celebrate Día de los Muertos, a cherished Mexican tradition honoring the lives and memories of loved ones who have passed away. Stop by our community ofrenda and help us build a traditional altar. You’re welcome to bring a photo of someone you would like to honor, contribute to the display, or simply learn about the meaning behind its elements and how families carry this tradition across generations. If you’d prefer not to print a photo yourself, you can submit it through this form (https://forms.gle/qenjZAqqPgGJMoca7), and we’ll print it and place it on the ofrenda for you. We welcome photos honoring family members, friends, beloved pets, and anyone whose memory holds a special place in your heart. You’re welcome to share as much or as little of their story as you feel comfortable. Get creative with calaverita painting! Decorate your own colorful skull and take home a little piece of the celebration. Whether you grew up celebrating Día de los Muertos or are discovering it for the first time, everyone is welcome. Come connect, share memories, and celebrate the people and companions who remain close to our hearts. 🌴 SUMMER ISN’T OVER: LASA PARTY — BEACH EDITION☀️ It may be getting cold in NYC, but we’re keeping summer alive! Join LASA on November 13 for a night of Latin music, dancing, and beach vibes. Bring your friends, put on your favorite beach-inspired outfit, and come get warm with us! 🏖️💃 Whether you’re from Latin America or just love a good fiesta, there’s a warm place for you here. Get ready to sing along, dance all night, and bring a little summer back to November. 🎟️ Tickets Tickets are released in limited tiers, with prices increasing as each tier sells out. All tiers include the same admission, so grab yours early for the best price! Entry is subject to venue capacity. 🍹 DRINKS & LIGHT BITES Every admission ticket includes one drink ticket, and light bites will be available during the event. Come sip, snack, and dance with us! 🔞 21+ ONLY — PHYSICAL ID REQUIRED All attendees must be 21 or older. IDs will be checked at the entrance, and you must bring a valid, physical, government-issued photo ID. Photos, screenshots, and digital copies will not be accepted. No physical ID, no entry, even if you have purchased a ticket. 🚫 NO REFUNDS All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, including if you cannot attend, do not meet the age requirement, or arrive without an accepted physical ID.
