Intern, Development Innovation Team at the Development Cooperation Directorate (DCD), OECD

This internship provides a student with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge issues related to international development and bilateral co-operation within a social innovation context. The intern will work as a member of the Innovation for Development Facility, situated within the Development Co-operation Directorate (DCD), on supporting the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) to carry out its mandate to help increase financing for development and to improve the quality and effectiveness of development co-operation. The selected candidate would work on contributing to the design of a strategy and implementation of the work programme, mainly through carrying out research assignments. The internship provides the candidate with the opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, ranging from bilateral development agencies to innovators from low- and middle-income countries.

The ideal duration of the internship would be six months in the period between January 2023 and June 2023. There is flexibility in terms of duration and beginning and start date. A contribution to living expenses of around 700 euros per full month worked will be granted to interns by the OECD.

49th Annual Village Halloween Parade

New York’s most iconic Halloween event is returning once again on Monday, October 31st, 2022. One of the best and biggest parades hosted in the city, the Village Halloween Parade is a great event to watch and cheer on with your friends. And for the more adventurous, it is always easy to go in an join in the parade!Those joining the parade can do so by arriving at the entrance point ready to go in full costume. Be sure to arrive between 6:30 PM and 9:00 PM. There's a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to alcohol (when participating in the parade), so do not show up drunk if you want to walk the walk.
