No plan for lunch this Thursday? We got you covered!  This April 30, we would like to recommend two wonderful discussions that will take place at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. Check them out!   

First, the Human Rights and Humanitarian Policy Concentration has gathered an incredible panel of experts to have a dialogue around 'Innovation and Resiliency: Human Rights Organizations During the Pandemic.'

Then, the Human Rights Working Group is happy to co-sponsor the 'Communicating for Results at the United Nations' event, with Adam Roger, a communications expert with over 25 years of experience working within the UN and the 2030 Agenda. 

Grab some food, get your drink, and join us for two hours of lively dialogue!

What: The COVID-19 Pandemic is changing the way human rights organizations work and they have had to find innovative ways to move forward. The conversation will focus on the new tactics and strategies these organizations are using for advocacy, research, programming, and strategic planning.

Adam’s current work is with UN Volunteers, where he leads the communication effort behind the Plan of Action to Integrate Volunteering into the 2030 Agenda. Adam also is supporting UNDP in Ukraine with its response to the COVID-19 pandemic and with overall strategic communication in support of its portfolio of programmes there.
