The film details the life of Dolores Huerta, one of the most important activists in American history. Co-founder of the first farm workers unions, Dolores tirelessly led the fight for racial and labor justice, becoming one of the most defiant feminists of the twentieth century. Please join EU Special Representative for Human Rights, Eamon Gilmore, for a conversation about the efforts of the European Union to promote human rights worldwide and about the implications of current developments such as migration and Brexit.
Eamon Gilmore is the European Union Special Representative for Human Rights and has also served as the EU Special Envoy for the Colombian Peace Process since October 2015. He was Ireland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade from 2011 until July 2014.
