Welcome to Fall 2020! We are off to a running start. May your internet connections stay strong and your patience with Zoom even stronger.
Meet your new PAs, both currently in NYC:
Julia Henriques-Souza (MIA '21) is on the Human Rights track with a GPP specialization. Her fun facts: "1) I'm a Libra sun and Gemini rising. If you met me in person and know a thing or two about astrology, you know how clearly that manifests; 2) I'm a huge Lady Gaga fan. I literally cried when Chromatica came out; 3) I've been a vegetarian since 2017 (started because I couldn't cook meat, stuck to it because of the environment and health benefits). I hope that helps you get to know me better. Please feel free to reach out for academic purposes or to just talk!"
Morgan Nevins (MIA/MSW '21) is on the Humanitarian Policy track at SIPA and dual degree at Social Work. Gemini Sun~Sagittarius Rising~ Aries Moon. Things she loves to talk about in no particular order: biking, decolonizing/unsettling mindsets, Mozambique, gender dynamics, cash transfer programming, gardening, history, virtual dance parties, Timor-Leste, overlap b/w trauma-informed & anti-oppressive practice, and puppies. Outside of class, she is becoming a baby therapist through her clinical social work placement in a domestic violence shelter.

While in Brasília, she also worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, where she was in touch with gender, labor and health topics, and at the Public Defender’s Federal Office of Brazil, where she worked with asylum claims and access to justice. She's also an epic Lady Gaga fan.
