Our Mission

CEA's mission is to inspire and prepare Columbia University's graduate students for leadership and professional roles in the clean energy sector.

Networking Events & Professional Development Training

CEA organizes a variety of learning, networking and career events involving key industry leaders in the clean energy space to facilitate discussions about opportunities and trends in the sector.

Career Treks

Each semester, CEA organizes several networking and career placement "treks" to the offices of prominent players in the energy, environment, and sustainable finance fields. We will resume in-person treks in Fall '22.

Energy Symposium

The Columbia Energy Symposium is the largest student-run energy event in New York City. Every year, this cross-discipline event brings together hundreds of energy professionals, students, faculty, leaders, and executives representing industry, government, and society, to explore and advance our insights into today's challenging energy questions.
